Storage for a working routine
This storefront uses first-party storage to keep a brush or towel selection available as you move between pages. The necessary session cookie links your browser to cart quantities, checkout drafts and secure form tokens. It is not an advertising identifier. Necessary storage remains on because these functions cannot operate reliably without it. The application session expires after 7 calendar days of inactivity; subsequent activity renews that period. Closing a browser tab alone does not necessarily erase a persistent session cookie.
Your choice, not an assumption
The consent panel provides equally available Accept All, Reject All and Customize buttons. Necessary is on and locked. Preferences, analytics and marketing begin off. Closing or ignoring the panel, scrolling a page or adding an item is not acceptance. Reject All leaves the core shopping functions available. Customize lets you save each optional purpose separately rather than making an all-or-nothing decision. A locally saved consent record is scoped to pennylanehairsalon.com and expires after 180 calendar days. Another merchant's saved choice is not permission for this store.
What optional purposes mean
Preferences would support optional remembered interface choices beyond the essential cart. Analytics would measure how the store is used; marketing would support advertising-related activity. No external analytics, marketing or optional preference service is configured at launch. Turning on a category therefore does not create a provider, send a measurement request or subscribe you to messages. Optional integrations, if later introduced, must be identified here and remain blocked until an applicable saved permission exists. This page does not represent a hidden list of active advertising partners.
Change or withdraw
Use Cookie settings in the footer of any page to review the current choice. Save selections to apply a different combination, or Withdraw optional consent to turn every optional purpose off. The consent controller stops registered optional activity and clears its registered optional storage on withdrawal. Some already executed optional code may require a reload to stop completely; the controller reloads where needed. Expired or invalid consent returns optional purposes to off. Withdrawing optional permission does not erase a submitted order request, because that record serves a separate transaction purpose.
Browser controls and assistance
Your browser can block or delete cookies and local storage independently. Clearing them may remove the cart, an unsent checkout draft and the remembered consent decision, so the panel can appear again. Blocking all storage may prevent a choice from persisting or make checkout unavailable; contact us if that happens rather than repeatedly sending the same request. Private browsing may discard storage at the end of a session. These controls apply to the browser you use and do not automatically synchronize other devices. Ask us about a storage entry you do not recognize and include its name, not your financial credentials.
