What you provide
Penny Lane Hair Salon collects the information you enter when requesting brushes or salon towels: full name, email, street address, city, state, ZIP code, requested products and quantities, and your agreement to the order terms. Phone and notes are optional. Required delivery fields let us evaluate the destination and respond about the request. Please do not include payment credentials, health information or details about another person without their permission. We receive information directly from you rather than buying customer lists.
Why we use it
We use request details to check availability, calculate a final offer, arrange an accepted order and help with corrections, delivery or returns. Necessary session information maintains your cart, checkout draft and form security. If you contact us separately, we use that correspondence to answer your question. We do not sell personal information or use this storefront for targeted advertising. No analytics or advertising provider is configured at launch; optional purposes remain off until a choice is saved.
Retention that applies
Application order-request records are retained for 180 calendar days from submission, then deleted unless a specific legal duty or active dispute requires a documented hold. Cart and checkout session data expires after 7 calendar days of inactivity; activity renews that period. Inquiry correspondence is retained for 90 calendar days after receipt. Consent choices expire after 180 calendar days. Accepted transaction records that must be kept under a legal duty are handled separately; we do not claim a universal statutory period. Hosting-provider access and security logs may include IP address, request time, path and browser details. Their retention follows provider configuration, not the application's order or session deletion schedule; we do not promise a fixed hosting-log deletion time.
Recipients and safeguards
People handling customer support and service providers performing hosting or fulfillment may receive information needed for those tasks. We limit what is shared to the relevant purpose. An agreed manual payment may also create records held independently by your financial institution. We restrict access to request records and use secure form controls, but no website or transmission can be guaranteed perfectly secure. Do not send financial credentials in email or checkout notes. External websites and banks have their own privacy practices.
Your requests and changes
Email us with your reference to ask about access, correction or deletion. We may make a proportionate identity check before releasing personal information. We aim to respond within 30 calendar days and explain any applicable restriction or required hold. Deleting browser storage can clear an unsent cart but does not itself delete an already submitted request. Cookie settings lets you change optional choices without contacting us. We do not knowingly seek information from children under 13. Material changes to these practices will be explained on this page; a changed policy does not silently authorize a new optional tracking purpose.
